ABOUT THE PROJECT

Set against the backdrop of a studio production, Psychosis, is a psychological thriller that follows an amateur method actor, Abigail, as she attempts to perform at the highest level, but loses touch with reality in the process.

Under the pressures of the film industry, Abigail disregards her schizoaffective disorder for the sake of her character, Mary. Tensions rise as crew members and Abigail's co-star, John, recognize she is not in the correct headspace.

Despite the indications of Abigail's state, the director carries on with the rehearsal. We glimpse into Abigail's mind as the rehearsal plays out. (See full short below.)

RESULTS

While Psychosis didn’t make it into the festival circuit, its impact extended far beyond accolades. Born during a time of industry uncertainty, the project brought together a dedicated crew at the height of the strike, proving that passion and collaboration can push creative work forward under any circumstances. Leading this production provided invaluable experience in team management, problem-solving, and full-scale production execution—skills that continue to shape my career.

Though this chapter of Psychosis is closed for now, the work remains. Below, you’ll find the feature-length script and EPK package, offering a deeper look at the world we built and the process behind it.
